Tools of the Trade

This is the scrapper that we use to clean windows before installation. It uses 6″ replaceable razor blades to ensure that every window is as clean as possible for the final product.
Simple enough, a common squeegee is used right before installation to remove all the dirt and debris that the scrapper has dislodged.

These are the cutting tools. On the left is the 9mm perforated knife and that funny-looking orange thing is a receptacle for discarded blade segments. On the right is a collection of guides to ensure the cut is as close to the window frame as possible.

Finally, this is the final step in the window film installation process: the hard squeegee. These tools are much harder and more robust than your standard squeegee, designed to push the water out from under the film to guarantee a clean finish free of bubbles and air pockets.
